 The truth is out there

Despite attempts to stop it by threatening my ISP's with legal action over the websites that contained the information

http://bcss.netfirms.com

Close that one down with threats I'll open another free account and then another then another then another etc etc.

In order to stop any possible threats of defamation I have removed all names from the text.

The truth is no less the truth if with or without the names.

 Why are Birmingham's Carers Silent?
« Result #2 on Mar 26, 2008, 11:15am »

maybe its because they are being let down?

Birmingham Carers Association was started to give a voice to carers, to challenge the decision makers, I know I set it up, I wrote its constitutions, but it does not do this.

Why not?

Well it could be that its just got the wrong leaders, interested in only maintaining their own positions on the gravy train at your expense.

or

It could be because the current bullies in charge of Birmingham City Council don't like people to say anything they disagree with. I know they do I was often threatened by them via the CEO of BCSS. "our funders don't like this" "our funders don't like that" our funders think what you have written on the website is inappropriate" (the latter when I accused them of bullying on the BCSS website.).

Well it never used to be like that.

It needs to get back to where it was, back to the time when speaking up for carers was allowed because they could not stop it.

BCSS and BCA have suffered from "the piper calls the tune" and the only way to change that is to get it back to basics, back to when the organisation relied on its members to do it all. When the newsletter was printed on members (OK my) printer, using my own sourced paper.

It can be done there are now new ways of getting funding that does not rely on people giving.

An example is the Google ads that you see everywhere. The ones on the main sites www.birmingham-carers.org.uk www."The Criminal Organisation"midlands.info www.carersforum.info www.carer.info and my own sites www.timcolville.co.uk www.timcointernet.co.uk etc provide funding clicking on them costs nothing but generates genuine and if enough do it substantial income.

There are also other forms of advertising on websites (although Google is the most lucrative and simple of them). BTW the Google ads on this message board do not directly benefit anyone but the Board hosts who provide us this message board for free and fund it out of the adverts placed on it. If they can fund a system like this out of it imagine how much they must be getting in advertising revenue!

Support the independence of carers and click on the ads on the main sites (or use the search box for your Google searching, its a safe way of searching the web as it filters out the undesirable sites (porn etc) and clicking on the sponsored searches at the top and bottom of the results makes even more revenue than the basic search does.

I am currently hosting everything out of my own money ask yourself would the likes of the vastly over paid Pauline Miller-brown do that? Would Pat Thomas even consider paying for it (she even once tried to reclaim a parking fine under expenses from BCC)

If you want to join-up either post your name and email address here (not recommended) or email bica@carersforum.info

Also coming soon will be an online carers forum under www.carersforum.info

This Board is solely for asking questions about Birmingham Carers and the situation it has been forced into by the actions of others.
